When your members expiry dates are within the Leeway Days, your members will see a button display in the membership area and on their mobile app to Renew their Membership.

Renewal Reminders

When your members expiry date matches the Renewal Reminders that you have set in your Membership Global Settings the member will be emailed a Renewal Reminder email. This email is editable in the Automatic Membership Emails.

NOTE: You should always ensure that your first Renewal reminder does not exceed the amount of Leeway Days that you have set in your Membership Level Settings, otherwise the member will action their renewal email, only to find that there is no Renewal button available on login.

Renewing via the Website

When your members login to the member administration area on your website they will see a Renew Now button displayed under their membership card. 

Renew Button

Clicking on this button will open a pop up with the membership form. Here the member can update their membership details, select which membership product they would like for the next membership term (only products in the same membership level will be available. If the member wishes to renew to another membership level, they will need to sign up to that level) and then submit their membership renewal application.

Renew Form

On clicking submit, the member will be offered any Online Store products you may have linked to membership, and then take them to select their preferred payment option, and through the checkout process.

Renewal Pmt
If your membership level settings are set for automatic approval of renewals, then your member will automatically get the next membership term added to their membership upon payment. If your membership level is not setup for automatic approval, then your member will see a message advising that their membership will now require administrator approval.

Renewal Pending

A member that requires approval goes into a pending status. They will receive the email to advise them of this. You can edit this email content in the Automated Membership Emails.

Renewal email

If your membership level is set to auto approve members, or an administrator has approved a pending member, they will then be sent the email with the content set up in the "Membership Welcome Email" and the "Approval Email" in the Automated Membership Emails.

Renewing Via The Mobile App

Renewing via the mobile app is the same process to renewing on the website. 

The member must be within the membership leeway days (see Membership Level Settings) in order to see the option to Renew. 

When the member logs into the mobile app, they will see a "Renew Today" reminder at the top of the dashboard. If you have your Renewable Membership Levels turned on in the App Settings of your Member Jungle App Module the membership level that requires renewing will be displayed underneath the Renewal Reminder.

Clicking on the membership button below this reminder will take the member directly to the membership form to renew their membership. 

Alternatively, the member can select the "My Account" option from the dashboard. Scrolling to the bottom of the account information will show the Membership expiry dates. Any memberships that are coming up for Renewal or are expired will have a button to renew.

The member will be taken to the membership form to update their details and select membership products within that level for renewal. 

On clicking submit, the member will be offered any products you have set up in the Online Store linked to membership.

After clicking next, the member will be asked to confirm the amount, select their preferred payment option and then submit payment.

Membership Invoices and Membership Cards

Your members will be emailed an invoice and their membership card with their welcome email (upon approval of membership). 

They will also have access to view and download all of their past membership invoices in their members administration area.

The membership card is available to members both on the mobile app, and in their members administration area.
