All Member Jungle Systems Using Legacy Login Screens, will move to this new improved login process from the Wednesday the 27th of November 2024. The new login process makes it easier for members and club administrators to login without administration assistance. Easy Login Option |
How to Login
Once users have navigated to the Login Page, they will be required to enter a username on the initial screen. If they don't know or have forgotten their login details they can click on the "Forgot My Username" or "Forgot my Password" links below.
Allow Easy Login
Site administrators have the option to enable Easy Login feature which gives your members and account holders the option to login to your site using a one-time passcode (if they forget their password). It also moves to a 2 part login screen, where they enter their username and then their password separately. This 2 step process, enables the system to identify if they enter their email address accidentally instead of their username, and email their usernames to them.
To activate Easy Login go to the Security Tab > then Settings in the left Menu and then change "Allow Easy Login" to say Yes.
How to Login with Easy Login turned on
Once users have navigated to the Login Page, they will be required to enter a username on the initial screen. If they don't know or have forgotten their username they can click on the "Forgot My Username" link below.
Recognising Email Addresses
If a user enters an email address that is linked to their account but is not their username, the system will show that it's not an email address, but allow you to send the usernames linked to the user by email.
If the user clicks "Send Username to ......" The email will be sent to the user with the relevant usernames. Sometimes we have numerous family members using the same email address.
Once you have your login details, enter your username and click next.
Usernames are created as part of the signup process, or you will be emailed your username when your membership organisation joins Member Jungle. You'll be given the option to have the username sent to your email address (please note this isn't a username reset), or you can choose to start the process over.
Note : Email address can be used as a username, however, many clubs have multiple family members using the same email address, so this is not always an option.
Note: Captcha is likely to be activated before password entry in several scenarios including:
- frequent logging in and out,
- use of Incognito windows, or
- encountering failed login attempts.
Activation may also occur if a user isn't signed into Google or fails the initial CAPTCHA test. It's important to note that Google controls CAPTCHA functionality, meaning Member Jungle cannot influence whether you pass or fail the CAPTCHA, nor can we dictate the images displayed.
Forgotten Username or Passwords
A person has two options if they can't login, they can ask to receive their username by competing their First Name, Last Name and email (as shown below). If they enter the details that correctly match an account, their username will be emailed through to them.
Once the person has their username they can use it to retrieve their password, which will be emailed through to them.
Password or Forgotten Passwords - with Easy Login
When entering your password, you have two options: you can either enter your password or use the 'Login with One-Time Code'. Entering your password will redirect you to access your membership account. If you choose to select the 'Login With One-Time Passcode', the system will send you a 6-digit number that will expire within one hour.
Some systems also have an SMS option for the one time passcode. If you wish to add this to your organisations Member Jungle System, please chat with our support team.
