This document will outline the process by which club members can opt out of receiving various emails from the Member Jungle system.
In the system, club members can receive automated and manual emails from various modules. These modules are Membership, Email and SMS Campaign, Events, and other non-transactional emails.
Club Members can log in to their account and navigate to the email tab. To opt out of emails, club members can toggle the button next to the module they wish to opt out of so that it becomes grayed out.
Once members opt out of the following modules, these are the emails they will no longer receive unless they choose to re-enable them.
Events: Events scheduled emails and emails sent via linked event email campaigns (update, event update, and marketing emails).
Marketing: Newsletter, marketing emails, or any emails sent through the email campaign module.
Membership: renewal email reminders, newsletter and emails sent via linked membership email campaigns
Other: other non-transactional emails
Additionally, all emails have a "Manage Preferences" or "Unsubscribe" link in the footer, allowing club members to conveniently modify their preferences or opt out of future communications with a simple click. This provides an additional option for club members to unsubscribe from emails as needed.
Note: Some emails can not be unsubscribed from, including:
- Important emails about your account
- Orders and payment updates
- Shipping notifications
- Event registrations and ticket purchases
- Membership signup and approvals
