Security Settings
This section under the Security module allows you to enable 2 Factor Authentication (2FA) and purchase SMS credits when needed. As an admin, you also have the option to enable Easy Login within the system.
Once you enable the 2FA functionality, additional navigation options will appear in the menu.
Security Settings
When your users lock themselves out of their accounts, the system will trigger an email to the Security Administrator.
Add the email address that you wish to have notified in the "To Email Address" field. If you have a preference for a from address, you can also add this.
By default, both email addresses are the current site contact, unless edited by an administrator.
This email is also used if your balance is low for SMS credits if this functionality is turned on.
Enforce 2FA (2 Factor Authentication) for Site Admins and/or Members
All module administrators and site admins are required to enable 2FA. The system will prompt them to enable this feature upon logging into their account.
For members without administrative access, 2FA is optional unless you choose to enforce it. To enforce 2FA for members, simply tick the option.
For more information about each setting, hover your mouse over the ‘i’ icon to view the tooltip.
Click save once the appropriate settings have been saved.
SMS Credits
If you enable the SMS option for 2FA and Easy Login one time codes via SMS, anyone logging into the system will have the option to receive the code via SMS—provided they have a mobile number saved in their account. Each SMS is charged at 1 credit.
To purchase additional SMS credits, click the ‘Buy More’ button and follow the on-screen prompts to complete your purchase.
SMS credits for 2FA and SMS email campaigns are shared and come from the same credit pool.
The nominated ‘To Email Address’ above will also receive a system notification when the SMS credits fall below 100.
