Creating an internal or external link in the navigation
It is possible to have an item in your navigation that rather than going to its own page, it links to an internal or external URL. This is called a "Link Page".
In order to create a link page you need to create a new page or edit a current page (note, that if you edit a current page to a link page, any content on that page will no longer be visible to the user).
Scroll to the admin options that are below the content editor
- In the Page Sub Type field, select "Link Page" from the drop down options. This will then give you a URL field
- Add the URL for the internal or external page you wish to link to in the URL field (note - include the http:// or https://)
- Open in New Window - if checked will open the link in a new window. If left unticked, this will open the page in the same window.
Save and close.
This page will display in your navigation as the Link Name (at the top of the editor). It will now open into the URL you have nominated.
