This help document will guide you on how to set your new and existing events to recur daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, or based on the specific requirements of the event.
Recurring event provides a drop-down option for selecting the frequency of the event, with the default set to 'Does not repeat.' The event will automatically be duplicated based on the selected frequency. The drop-down option will depend on the start and end date of your event. Please see the sample image below:
This feature is available in certain packages. If you don't see this option on your system, please don't hesitate to submit a support ticket for further assistance.

Configuring Recurring Event
Once you select an option, it will allow you to configure the frequency of your event. You can choose how often you'd like the event to occur—daily, weekly, or monthly—and set an "until" date. Please note that the option changes based on your selection.
Under the registration tab, the registration dates open and close dates that you enter will be updated in relation to your future events i.e. if you enter the open date 7 days before you event and close registrations 24 hours before your event, then all future events will open 7 days before and close 24 hours before.
Note: If you would like to have all events opened for registration, you will need to adjust your main event open date accordingly. i.e. 12 months before the event date.
When saving an event for the first time, it will automatically be duplicated based on your settings. A message will appear at the top, indicating the number of events created. This icon will appear next to the event name to indicate that it is a recurring event.
Editing Recurring Event
When initially creating a recurring event (or editing an existing event to make it recurring), all aspects of the event—such as tickets, form fields, emails, and CPD—will be cloned.
If you edit a ticketed event and select the 'this and all future events' option, all changes will be applied to all future events.
Editing a recurring event, a pop-up will always appear on your screen, allowing you to select the necessary options.
Important Reminder: When updating an event and selecting "Apply to Future Events," all event information is cloned, except for:
- Tickets (unless the event is changing from a non-ticketed to a ticketed event)
- Form fields (unless the event is changing from a non-registration event to a registration or ticketed event)
Here are the possible outcomes when adjusting event dates and the "Until Date":
-
If the event date is moved forward (and "This and All Future Events" is selected), resulting in a future event falling outside the recurring interval's "Until Date," that event will be deactivated, and a message will be logged.
A new pop-up message will appear at the top of your screen to reflect the changes you made.
-
If the event date is moved backward (and "This and All Future Events" is selected), additional events will be created to extend up to the "Until Date" of the recurring interval.
-
If the "Until Date" of the recurring interval is changed, events will be either deactivated or created as needed to align with the new interval duration.
Activating Recurring Event
Activating a recurring event will trigger a pop-up message to appear.
