Member Jungle Product Release February 26
Payments
Searching
The various Payment Reports (Site Payments, Membership, Events and Online Store) have been updated to allow some additional search criteria. You can now specifically search for Invoice Number and the Person/Member.
Additionally, you can now search for the Invoice Status. Previously, all Payment Reports only showed invoices that had been paid (hence, its name smiley) and now you can search for the status of Pending as well as Refunded or Cancelled. Results from these searches can then be exported allowed, for example, for pending invoices to be exported for later upload into account systems like Xero.
Extra Functionality
From the Payment Report on the right side '...' menu, you can View Details, Re-Send the Payment Email (with Invoice) and Cancel the order.
If a Payment is Pending, then you can mark that Payment as Paid when you have manually received the funds.
Cancelling an Order
Cancelling the Order marks the order as cancelled in Member Jungle, and you can add notes to the cancellation reason. You can specify the Refund Method as well, but note that this does not perform the actual refund (using Stripe, for example) but allows you to track how you performed the refund. The refunds must be manually done via cash, direct debit, or your Stripe account.
The Payment Report has also been added to the Course module, so you can do the same sort of reporting as you can from our other key payment modules.
The main help document for the Payment Reports is on our support portal at https://support.memberjungle.com/payment-reports-in-member-jungle.
Blog
The Blog Output widget has been re-written from the ground up, giving you a lot more options to control your output of blog articles.
Tip of the Month
A long-term (and favourite) customer has just thanked me for the 'fantastic new multi-select' in Membership and linked Email Campaigns. It, however, has been there for quite a few years, and we obviously didn't promote it when it was released. So my 'new' tip is to make sure you check out the 'Enable Multi-Select' (down the bottom of the screen) when you select recipients for an email or doing a membership search. It allows you to select members from multiple levels and products, which particularly saves time when sending emails to multiple levels.
